Welcome to Salt & Pepper. Thank you for stopping by. This blog’s distinction in the blogosphere is that it is designed to speak into the needs and interests of women who, like me, are somewhere in the latter half of their lives. The world sees us as Baby Boomers, part of the Silent Generation, or members of the GI Generation. But in reality, we are the Wise and Beautiful Ones.

Why Salt & Pepper? The name Salt & Pepper suggests aging graciously (think hair color). It also refers to the salt that women of God are in the world, and the pepper that adds zing to life. The definition of “salt of the earth” is, An individual or group considered as representative of the best and noblest elements of society. We are seasoned enough in our journey to wear this silver crown, and yet journey on as the spice of life that we still are.

The tagline, Life & Faith for Boomers & Beyond, identifies who we are and what we’ll talk about. I’ve been thinking about you, wondering who you are, where you come from, and what’s your story. Even if you are younger than a boomer or feel like you are “too beyond,” you are welcome here.
