Here is a lively rendition of one of Fanny Crosby’s well-known hymns, “Praise Him, Praise Him.” I love the energy of this song and the way the language has been slightly updated but the message not changed at all. I love the little extras in the arrangement—the “Sing praise!” bridge that was added and the way the tempo changes. I love the insertion of Psalm 150 into the song. And I love that it is multi-generational. How great to see the kids and the older folks all praising the Lord together!

From what I have learned about Fanny Crosby, I think she’d be thrilled to know that her song is still very much a part of the church today, 151 years after it was written, and updated for a new generation!
